Guesthouse Nostos

In the square of Estavromenos which was historically a well frequented point in the town of Chora where important events of Kythirian history took place, lies an old two story manor house with an archway – a classical feature of Venetian architecture which characterizes the old town.

The old manor house of Father Samuel, a great ecklesiastical figure of the 19th Century, was inherited initially by the family of Panagiotis Nikiforakis and passed down to his decendants who transformed it into a guest house with great respect and careful interventions.

The Location KYTHIRA

Chora - Kythira

Chora, the capital of Kythira, is one of the oldest settlements of the island, with a rich historical, archeological and geological background. The old city was confined within Forteza, inside the Venetian Castle and in “Mesa Vourgo”, a protected neighborhood right under the Castle.
